The Fine Canine® is a dog training company serving the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area since 1999. We provide dog training, boarding and daycare services to individuals and talent agencies based on positive methods of instruction. Our aim is to successfully create trust-bonded relationships between dogs and their owners for both recreational and competition purposes.
We're very passionate about what we do and that's evident in the thousands of dogs we've helped train and rehabilitate over the years. We are extremely proud to have made a difference in the lives of so many pet owners, and we're confident that we can help you enjoy many years of fine canine companionship with your pet as well!
Obedience training focuses on teaching a dog to respond reliably to whatever command its handler gives. We offer three levels of obedience instruction: beginning obedience, intermediate and advanced obedience. Dogs of any age, size and breed can benefit from our obedience training programs.
Performance training focuses on teaching dogs how to perform for their handlers and work together in competition. We offer three levels of performance instruction: agility, rally obedience and trick training. Adolescent and adult dogs of any size and breed can benefit from our performance training programs.
Therapy training is for dog owners interested in getting involved in animal-assisted therapy with their pets. A therapy dog is a dog trained to provide affection and comfort to people in hospitals, retirement homes, nursing homes, schools, hospices, disaster areas, and people with learning difficulties.
Your best friend’s comfort and safety are paramount to us. Situated on several acres, your furry friend will enjoy their stay in a home environment where they're treated just like family. Enroll them in our Boarding School and we'll teach them good manners too! Our board & train programs produce the best results and take all the effort out of having a well-trained dog.
We provide professionally trained and handled canines for use in television, film, print, special events and live work. We help select the right dog to meet the specific requirements for each individual job and we provide the expertise of professional handlers, trainers and wranglers on set to ensure a successful shoot.
We provide AKC and Pet Partners registrations for dogs that meet the specific training requirements. The AKC certifications include AKC Star Puppy, AKC Canine Good Citizen and AKC Community Canine. The Pet Partners registration is for dogs that graduate from our Pet Partner's approved therapy training program.
